Policies + Tuition Assistance

Tuition Assistance or Payment Plan:

We want to make art and learning accessible to everyone. Please let us know if the cost of a class places undue financial hardship on you or your family. Email us at info@essexartcenter.org to request a payment plan or discount.

Mask Policy:

We currently do not require masks in the classroom unless stated in the class description. If you wish to wear a mask, you can bring your own and there are also some available at our entrance free of charge.

Student Waiver Form:

If you are registering a child, you will be prompted at checkout to consent to EAC’s Student Waiver Form, which outlines our policies regarding pickup, accommodations, and photo release.

Supplies:

For all youth classes supplies are provided. For adult classes, please check under course descriptions to see what supplies you will need. Most supplies can be found through an online retailer like Blick or a local store like Michael’s, which offers curbside pickup.

Photo Release:

Essex Art Center programs are sometimes photographed for publicity purposes, such as brochures, advertising, and other promotional material. Permission to be included in publicity is implied by enrollment. Please email info@essexartcenter.org if you do not wish to be included in publicity.

Children’s Special Circumstances:

Parents must update their children’s accounts when registering to notify us of any medical conditions, allergies, learning accommodations, or social needs that might affect their participation in our programs.

Course Withdrawal and Refunds:

We offer a full refund (minus a $15 processing fee) if a student withdraws 7 or more calendar days before the first class. Students receive a 50% tuition refund if they withdraw 3-7 days prior to the first class. Sorry, no refunds for withdrawals made within 3 days of the class start date or after the class has begun.
