Speech Lives in a Series of Daily Attempts

Celebrated artists created publications and established platforms for publishing as ways to disseminate ideas and build community. The exhibition's pamphlet states, "Publishing is a process of self-determination, a political practice of building new ways of speaking, a way for artists to find and support each other, and to create cultural access beyond traditional exhibition contexts." This exhibition was organized by Abigail Satinsky, Program Officer and Curator at Wagner Foundation in Cambridge, where it was first exhibited, features the works of Joseph Grigely, Kimi Hanauer, Steffani Jemison, Adam Pendleton, Gabriel Sosa, and Ulises.
