Clay & Firing Info

What clay are we using at EAC?
This clay body is a mid-fire earthenware with some grog. Fired to cone 04 for Bisque and cone 4 for glaze. At 04 the clay is fired to a toast brown color.

Can EAC fire pieces I have made somewhere else?
No. We will only fire the pieces of students who are currently enrolled in a clay class at EAC.

OPEN STUDIO HOURS
Mondays: 10am-3pm
Wednesdays: 10am-3pm & *6-8:30pm
Thursdays: 12:30-3pm
Fridays: 1:30-3pm
*Please contact the office in advance if you plan to work on Thursday evening. Building is locked at 7 pm.

Please allow time for cleaning up as other classes will be using the studio.
